<div><p>Introducing E-PMS, a design concept for a Property Management System that prioritizes efficiency, clarity, and ease of use. In the dynamic hospitality industry, managers and front-office staff require tools that are not only powerful but also intuitive. This dashboard is designed to be the operational command center for a hotel, presenting all vital data on a single, well-organized screen.</p><p>The primary challenge was to present dense data—from reservation statuses and occupancy rates to financial figures—without overwhelming the user. This design aims to simplify complexity, allowing users to quickly grasp the hotel's current status and take proactive measures.</p><p>My main focus was on creating an interface that is data-driven yet human-centric.</p><ul><li>Clean & Intuitive UI: Utilizing a grid-based layout with card-style widgets to segregate each metric, making them easy to digest.</li><li>Clear Data Visualization: Each chart—from the bar chart for room positions to the line chart for the occupancy forecast—was carefully chosen to present data in the most effective and understandable way.</li><li>Calming Color Palette: A soft pastel color palette (blue, pink, teal) was chosen to create a calm and professional visual experience, reducing eye strain during prolonged use.</li></ul><ol><li>At-a-Glance KPIs: The metric cards at the top provide an instant summary of the day's most important figures: arrivals, departures, new bookings, and waiting lists.</li><li>Occupancy Forecast: The trend graph assists management in strategic planning, anticipating busy periods, and optimizing pricing strategies.</li><li>Real-time Room Status: The combination of a donut chart and a table offers a complete picture of every room's status (Occupied, Vacant, Dirty, Maintenance), which is crucial for seamless coordination between the front office and housekeeping.</li><li>Financial Insights: Essential details like Revenue and ADR (Average Daily Rate) are clearly presented, helping management monitor the property's financial health.</li></ol><p>This E-PMS project is my exploration of creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing design solution for the hospitality industry.
